I once went to a Thanksgiving pot luck lunch event at a past job where one lady
brought a turkey dressing made entirely of toasted white bread, cut into cubes in melted butter and lots of seasonings, and baked in a casserole dish. No onions or celery, although it was likely seasoned with onion salt and or celery salt, not to mention poultry seasoning. It was delicious, and when I asked her for the recipe, she refused to give it out, saying it was a "secret family recipe". Has anybody ever heard of such an unusual recipe?
