Default What is in your freezer?

So we went shopping this weekend and took advantage of some sales as we
usually do. Seems that there have been some really good sales here
lately because our freezers are packed to maximum capacity... everything
bought on sale.

We have a medium sized chest freezer and the freezers in two
refrigerators, one a side-by-side and the other a standard top freezer.

2 slabs pork spare ribs ($1.37 a pound)
2 pkgs "country style" pork ribs (99 cents a pound)
1 pkg pork "steaks" ($1.27 a pound)
4 pkg pork sausage ($1.25 a pound)
1 pork boston butt roast (99 cents a pound)
4 pkg bacon ($1.25 each)
4 portions (about 1.5 pounds each) ham (another 99 cent sale) This is a
picnic ham we buy and cut up to use when making beans, cabbage, etc.

6 pkg Ball Park franks ($1.37 each)
3 pkg turkey smoked sausage (used meat, 50 cents each)

3 whole chickens (69 cents a pound)
3 bags chicken leg quarters (55 cents a pound)
2 bags chicken wings 5 pounds (used meat $2.99 each bag)
1 16 pound turkey 27 cents a pound
1 22 pound turkey 40 cents a pound

4 thinly sliced chuck steaks (used meat, $1 per pound) Good for breakfast.
2 sirloin steaks (used meat $2.50 per pound)
4 pkg ground beef (80/20) $1.49 per pound
1 rib eye steak ($3.99 per pound)

3 loaves Mrs Baird's 7 grain bread ($1.19 each at the outlet)
4 Boboli pizza crusts ($1.69 each at the outlet store)

Lots of bags of frozen veggies... especially broccoli and stir-fry mixes.
2 bags of frozen chinese dumplings (pot stickers)

Lots of left-overs, frozen chicken stock, beans, etc.

Yikes! Looks like we are in good shape for the holidays!

So what is in your freezer?

George L
