I had to say MCINL because I don't know how you would classify "sunny

Gimme scrambled - any day. Or soft boiled on toast.

My other half loves over easy tho, with fried potatoes on the side.

For me it depends on whether I'm making a fried-egg sandwich or not.

Love 'em kind of runny, but they don't love me.

They haven't agreed with me for a few years. Fried to a crisp, scrambled,
poached and hard boiled are all OK but fired and runny makes me feel the
same way. :-)

Yah, but did you give them a good severance package?

OBTopic: I like my eggs as long as they're well made, in just about any
method except raw (unless in a dressing or mayo).

I like them snotty :-) It doesn't bother me at all if they are a little
raw on top. It's better than over cooking the the bottom. No kind of
egg agrees with me. I have one egg on Sundays, usually scrambled. Once
every few months I have a toasted fried egg sandwich.

Sunnyside up but salted & peppered with a touch of water and then
quickly covered so the top is opaque. Then put 'em upside down on
crisp roast beef hash and poke the yolks so they run all over the
hash. Catsup on the side.

Naturally I only eat fried eggs I've cooked myself! - otherwise I
order 'em strangled.

Water basted (steamed).

But, I guess that's not really "fried" even tho' I do start them in a
bit of oil. <g>

I like to cook them that way too, but smear them into a hot buttered

I do something similar about once a month. I fry up some potatoes, with
onions, and if I have bell pepper that goes in to. When I get to the
last flip, I crack two or three eggs over the top, squirt a shot of
water off to the side and put a sheep of foil over the top for about 3
or 4 minutes till the eggs set.

Salt & pepper, with ketchup on the side. And yto make it slightlyu
healthier, a couple of pieces of buttered wheat toast.

Believe it. The question was How do you like your fried eggs?" not "How
you like your eggs cooed?" Fried is definitely not my favourite style
of egg.

I thought about that too at first, but the survey specified "fried
eggs". ;-)

Never met an egg I didn't like. Most times fried, but boiled, basted,
scrambled, are all fine too. When we have scrambled, they usually have
something mixed in them, such as a chopped up meat, cheese, onions. I chose
over easy because most times that is what we have, but if I just fried up a
pound of bacon, they will be basted.

Fresh and well fed. My parent's keep hens and the eggs I get from them
are worlds better than store bought eggs. It is a huge diifference,
huge.

I'd like to know how an egg is lightly basted in *deep* fat. I like
basted eggs a lot, but I've never seen them dipped into fat like a
french fry. My "fried" eggs are always over easy.

I am trying to imagine how to boil eggs and make them scrambled. The
only way to make screambed eggs in put them in a fry pan and FRY
them....they aren't boiled or baked.

I like my FRIED EGGS SCRAMBLED.

I ordered a Chef Salad yesterday. I though it was odd when the
boiled eggs that had been halved were face down on the salad.
Waitress, ploped the plates down and took off. After turning the
eggs over, I found out why....they were the blackest green I have ever
seen!!

Oh...sweetie...would you take this plate away.....after closer
inspection, the lettuce didn't look that fresh either.

Left a dollar on the table for the Pepsi....and walked out.

I nuke scrambled eggs. Same exact consistency.

Bob,

When I say eggs, I mean Egg Beaters. I use a 4oz. tub per nuke (probably 2
real eggs worth). Spray or wipe a microwave safe ramekin with oil, pour in
the stirred up eggs, cover with a paper plate and nuke on high (1,100 watts
here) for 45 seconds. Uncover and stir up, recover and finish another 15
seconds.

If you add other stuff to the eggs that will add to the cooking time,
depending.

When cooked, it'll be blazing hot for a few minutes so don't dig in right
away.

Plop it onto toast or English muffin or chop it up to add to a breakfast
plate of other stuff.

Just because it's in a pan, doesn't mean it's "fried."

"Although scrambled eggs can be cooked in a frying pan, they are not
considered 'fried eggs.'"
source-- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fried_egg

Basted eggs are simply fried eggs with a little oil spooned over the top.
They are definitely not deep fried.
