The last time I something from Taco Bell was years ago. I had picked up a beef burrito after an afternoon shift. It tasted okay. I went home and went to bed and woke up around 5 am feeling like I was going to explode. |

Pigs don't speak English. You always blame it on the guy who doesn't speak English. In pigs' defense. they didn't put themselves in factory farms, which is hypothesized to be a causative factor in the genesis of this strain. > > Steve --Bryan listen @ http://www.MySpace.com/TheBonobos "The 1960's called. I don't know why they can't call it the Mexican flu - after all, in 1918, the pandemic was Spanish flu. And this one started in Mexico with a 5-year-old. N. |

We stopped calling one type the Asian Flu, and started calling it avian flu. The Muslims and some Jews are upset, since swine are abhorrant to their dietary laws. Some idiots seem to think they can avoid this iteration of the flu by avoiding pork products. Can we find any more misinformation to spread? How about reminding folks of the vaccine what was it, 20 years ago, for the last outbreak of swine flu? You know, the one that killed a number of people. Which one of us had that lovely tagline about the Internet being a drunken librarian? maxine in ri |

Mis-information causes alot of problems, the WHO is the place to get credible information on this outbreak of human influenza. |

Musta been the same misinformation that CNN and HLN were sending out too.... It wasn't until yesterday (I believe) that anyone tried to correct the death toll numbers in Mexico and the level was raised to 5/6. Mexico has done a very poor job of syndrome surveillance here not to mention action. Now VP Joe is telling *his* family to stay off all public airlines. Nothing like adding gasoline to the fire.... (and how many of us have private/gumment air planes to take instead?) |

I heard a wonderful term the other day that fits 'newscasting' in today's world perfectly -- "Entertainment News." Isn't that great? It explains the shouting, fist pounding, hysteria, second-by-second retelling of minor details. The 'he said, no he really meant to say, what do you think he said '-- We were all better off before CNN and the spawn of CNN Janet |
