Phred,

Funny, my high school senior project was all about food additives. And
decades later I don't take some of my own advice?

Mom raised us on margarine. I never liked it. My friend's Mom used the real
butter. I enjoyed eating her bread and butter sandwiches much more!

As soon as I left home, I switched over to real butter.

Best,

Andy

I was raised on marg, too. I think fifty years ago it was the modern
thing to do.

My grandma still used butter, but kept it in the cabinet until it got
rancid. Grew up thinking butter was nasty.

Then I grew up. Even in the rough patches I've spent $4 for butter
rather than 79c for marg.
