Jamie didn't lick his plate clean :-) BTW, the top pic on your website..... do you purposely go out to buy orange coloured clothes? Are you into that whole colour meanings thing?? I had some friends who were. One female wore nothing but orange underwear. http://crystal-cure.com/orange.html "Orange is a power color. It is one of the healing colors. It is said to increase the craving for food. It also stimulates enthusiasm and creativity. Orange means vitality with endurance. People who like orange are usually thoughtful and sincere. Lady luck's color is orange. I have been told that if a change of any kind is need in life, just burn an orange candle for 7 nights." -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia "As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though." Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous |

He said he was going to lick his plate and I said if he did I would likely break his head. Heathen. Alternatively, I suggested that if he were to do it he would want to consider doing it in the kitchen, out of my sight. -- -Barb, Mother Superior, HOSSSPoJ http://web.mac.com/barbschaller - raspberry pie, 11/26/2008 |

I've sprung people licking their finished plates (of my food) in various (surreptitious)ways..... I take it as a compliment. Not high on the etiquette list, but a compliment nonetheless. > > Alternatively, I suggested that if he were to do it he would want to > consider doing it in the kitchen, out of my sight. How about a discreet 'finger scrape'?? :-) -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia I was having dinner with my boss and his wife and she said to me, "How many potatoes would you like Peter?". I said "Ooh, I'll just have one please". She said "It's OK, you don?t have to be polite" "Alright" I said "I'll just have one then, you stupid cow". |
