Default Twist on an Old Standby

The grilled cheese sandwich

Get some of that "New York Style" (heh) Texas garlic toast. It's already
buttered and garlic'd (is that a word? LOL). Heat a skillet over medium
heat and put a slice of American cheese (not that plastic "cheese food") and
a slice of Swiss or Havarti or Gouda between two slices of the Texas toast.
Cook until nicely browned on each side and the cheese is nicely melted.
It's a nice twist on an old favourite

Whoa! There's a paradoxical item, if I ever heard one. Is that like
Tex-Mex lutefisk?

Try a little bit of ham and brie with pear. Makes a great grilled cheese!

If you like pear I don't. But that leaves more pear ice cream for you
and Wayne! I do love Boars Head (brand) proscuitto wrapped around
mozzarelle. What a great snack!
