There was some talk a few months ago about
a cook-in in either Boston or Providence. Did anything ever come of that? I have been off for a couple of months due to back surgery (March and April) and wondered if I missed it or if it never came to fruition. Thanks, Wayne. I hope this is a permanent fix. Last year I had a discectomy (for herniated disc - L3-L4) and laminectomy (for spinal stenous of the spinal canal in the same area). However after that my spine became unstable and I started having a lot of pain in my back in December/January so they did a fusion at L2-L3 and at L3-L4. Now let this be the end of it! I feel a lot better now. (You probably didn't really want to hear all the details, though, right? ;-)) Kate -- Kate Connally “If I were as old as I feel, I’d be dead already.” Goldfish: “The wholesome snack that smiles back, Until you bite their heads off.” What if the hokey pokey really *is* what it's all about? |

I'm especially glad to know that you're feeling much better now since the last surgery. I do hope this is the end of it for you. I had a back injury last Fall (2 bulging displaced discs), but was able to recover from it without surgery, through spinal deocmpression. having said that, I don't think I've ever had a worse pain while I was recovering. -- Wayne Boatwright ------------------------------------------- Wednesday, 05(V)/14(XIV)/08(MMVIII) ------------------------------------------- Countdown till Memorial Day 1wks 4dys 12hrs 50mins ------------------------------------------- Why can't we just spell it 'orderves'? ------------------------------------------- |
