So, I buy a bar of Cadbury's at a CVS around the corner.
Good chocolate, right? Yeah- I know -- it's not Neuhaus or some super fine Belgian or Swiss delicacy. It's just a basic, good-tasting chocolate for what it's worth. No more, no less. Then I bite into it-- and my jaw freezes. Ugh-- that chalky taste and shoe polish finish seems familiar.... this tastes nothing like chocolate. WHich means, it tastes just like, like... I look at the back of the label. Sure enough: "Manufactured by HERSHEY, under license from the Cadbury Company" There really should be a ****ing law. |
