i made pizza from scratch and froze the dough ball, grated cheese and
tomato sauce. When i thawed and assembled the new pizza I noticed only the cheese had an off-flavour. Perhaps it picked up some taste from other spicy food in my freezer? Or does grated mozzarrella cheese not freeze well? |

You can freeze soft cheese like Mozzarella, (1-2 months maxt) but because they are soft, you need to take extra care to wrap them well so as not to absorb odors.
