What brand is it, Jacquie? Steve Wertz mentioned a good one on
alt.food.barbecue.

You sure don't wanna set off yer smoke detector, but a little fruit, nut or
other hardwood smoke sure smells good. ;-)

The last brand I used was Wrights. There wasn't much choice in the store. Do you remember the brand Steve talked about?
Thanks Nick.

Absolutely, lol. Been a constant 32c the past few weeks. Not too bad I guess
for almost the tropics. Where one daughter and son live in Sydney it has
been 43c. Heat wave for them. My daughter flies to Las Vegas tonight, she
will welcome the big change in weather Her partner is already in the US
doing motivational talks for a large number of companies. Currently he is in
NYC and says he is just wearing ordinary winter clothes around the streets
(jeans, tshirt, jacket). I imagined NYC to be all snow and freezing temps

I went to see Toy Story 3D this morning (double feature - 1 & 2). Started at
9.45 am and finished at 1 pm. We went to Hog's Breath for lunch. I had the
"lite" chicken parmiagana - which meant 1 piece of chicken instead of 2
Had the salad and a few of the curly fries, my son ate the rest dipped in
mushroom sauce, lol. Was nice, place had air con and the bg result was
satisfying. My 4 youngest and one of their girlfriends have just left to go
for a bbq at their dad's house so I am thinking I might have a very easy
dinner tonight. Maybe a grilled sandwich and a cuppa

New York will get cold again...especially if the storms that came through the West end up there. The Desert has snow on the Mountains. We had frost warnings last night. We got some much needed rain this last week.

Grandson is here for the weekend and we took him to Red Lobster...his favorite place to go. I'll be glad when he stops growing...maybe the Dining out bill won't be so much ...LOL.

Sorry, Jacquie. I don't remember. You might ask on a.f.b.

Gotta teach that boy to cook! My 16 year old grandson is 6 foot 6 inches
and weighs 270 lbs. Fortunately for my daughter, he's a good cook and likes
to cook. I think he likes to eat, too!

He can cook (well enough to keep him living..LOL)...I don't cook on
Saturdays ...so we usually go to Red Lobster . We're hoping to take him to a
Sports Bar /Grill the next time...they have good food...I bribed him by
telling him they had Great Hamburgers...LOL. My youngest Son is a Chemical
Engineer, and his hobby is cooking and expermenting with food.....

When you post on the internet, especially on usenet, one can expect to be
told a lot of things, and to likewise tell a lot too! But for some of us,
we like that freedom and can deal with it.

Rare night, last night. Fell asleep five hours early, at 11 PM and slept 12
hours! When I awoke, Jun asked me if I wanted bacon and eggs for brekkie. I
told her "Later". That'll be about 5 or 6 PM, when I can get some hash
browns with 'em as yolk soakers. FBG today was 76.

Had it for brekky too, lol. My 18yr old called in after work late last
night, after 10, I was in bed. I noticed when I got up that he had bacon and
egg "snack" before he went home. I had bought this huge back of picnic bacon
and a couple of dozen eggs, in hindsight a good move! Tomight I will add
tomatoes and mushrooms to mine.

I would kill for a 76 FBG Thanks for the mention of hash browns - I
recall I have a small few in the freezer in the carport. Kids might enjoy
those!

My FBG's have been between 75 and 115. I hope my diabetician is happy, too!
Jun buys potatoes 20 lbs at a time for her Curry Puffs, so there are always
plenty on hand. A small one, cooked in bacon fat . . . mmmm! A fresh
tomato, too.

My lunch will be similar to yesterday.

The last salad veggies we have left are cucumber and a stalk of celery So
it will be sliced Lebanese cucumbers and celery, canned corn niblets and
canned asparagus. Canned tuna and chopped onion. My daughter likes canned
food and she stocked up last week before she left for a trip with the babies
so I am now grateful

My friend never calls it a leftover meal, she calls it "my plan ahead meal."
