As per my other post ( http://tinyurl.com/cv3ob ) I am looking to put a
light kitchen in my finished basement (replacing/supplementing the
wetbar). I got some good suggestions on easy ways to introduce some
burners, and now I'm wondering what to do about an oven.

Can anyone recommend a relatively large convection oven? Something
that is countertop, not a full "in the wall" oven. Also, something
that I can run on 120v/20amp circuits.

I'm thinking something 2 to 3 cubic feet, but I'm interested in seeing
what the biggest I can get is. Bigger than 3 cubit feet is probably
bigger than I need (and might need more power) but I'd still be
curious.

For reference, the kitchenette will have 2 dedicate outlets, each
120v/20amp (so 40 amps of total). There are also other outlets in the
vicinity if I need power for smaller appliances. The other outlets are
not dedicated and will be shared with the rest of the downstairs. The
entire house has 400 amps.

At that small size, the Sharp or Panasonic micro-convections would do.

I have not seen anything as big as 2-3 cu ft that runs on 120. It
might be out there, somewhere, though.

That would have been my recommendation also, but Sharp's largest counter top
Microwave/Convection unit is about 1.7 cubic feet. Mine is only 1.1 cubic
feet and I find it plenty large for most chores. Three cubic feet seems
rather large for a counter top appliance running on 110V.

That one looks nice, but the inside dimensions are 18" W x 9.5" H x 12" D.
If my math is right, that is only 1.2 cubic feet. The price is $445. You
could get a larger microwave/convection oven for the same price.

That's true, Boron, but the Farberware is an exceptional convection oven.
I've owned two and, quite frankly, have had better baking results in them
than in the convection-enabled ovens of free-standing ranges.

I've never wanted a combo, would much rather have separates.

In the past twenty year...I also have had two. Farberware is by far,
the best oven on the market. I would not consider baking or roasting
anything in a conventional "convection" oven. Most are just an oven
with a fan....they don't have the heating unit "behind" the fan. THAT
is the secret to convection.

Yes, I was thought this might be the case, so perhaps a better way to
ask it would be: what is the largest countertop convection oven I can
get that will run on 110v?

What is the name of that model? I'm looking for it online; could use
some pointers.

I know the Farberwares are good, I've used them, but I the largest is
smaller than my Panasonic combo unit. I can even bake bread in the
combo unit and consider that my Gold Standard.

I needed a second oven. I have a micro over the stove and the combo
unit sits on a storage cart. There was no other way for me to get a
second oven into the kitchen.

I bought it from Amazon. You wait for some freebie deal of theirs and
voila! It winds up cheaper than you can get it locally.

I have had 2 of the Sharp combos & the Panasonic is far better.

That has everything going for it except price...and we are still in
the same old boat of the small size, which I am beginning to believe
cannot be overcome with a 110 power source....or even with most 220
ovens. The coutertop ovens run small.

Well, I guess that's to be expected, since most countertops offer
limited vertical clearance.
