Default Double Skillet?

Hi all,

I just came up with a well-seasoned Griswold #90 cast aluminum double
skillet (Top #1021, Bottom #1020). I used the deep bottom as a deep
fryer tonight, and it looks like the top can be used as a regular
skillet. Otherwise, what do I do with it? Use it like a dutch oven?
Also, how does the cast aluminum compare to cast iron?

Thanks,

Dan

I was wrong about it being cast aluminum. I tested it with a magnet;
it's cast iron. Woohoo, I'm even happier now!
