A different pot: I'll probably order this (but not instead of the above pan) tomorrow if I get a chance. http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=649777 But I'll be buying it at Costco online -- same price -- but if I need to return it, I can just take it to the store. Although I have a Chantal soup pot that I feel is almost identical in size, I've had it a few years. This new piece says it is made in Germany; and since the one I have leaves me to wonder if it is made in Germany, I'll give it a chance, as the last two I've had, DH has left it on the stove to ruin. You might call this a spare! They have a whole lot of these type of pots at either Ross, Kohl or TJ Max - I'm not sure which -- but almost everyone of them have a serious flaw. Enjoy the holiday weekend. Dee Dee |

Marshalls has them, too. I've even seen Le Crueset there. Don't remember seeing any serious flaws. I usually hunt around Marshalls for the odd pot to add to my collection. > Enjoy the holiday weekend. You, too, Dee Dee. I'm gonna smoke some ribs on my bullet smoker. Inviting our friends up the street who are always interested in sampling whatever I'm experimenting on. <g> -- Janet Wilder Way-the-heck-south Texas Spelling doesn't count. Cooking does. |
