The hinge pin on my mixer started migrating out of place while using
it. I had to keep watching the pin as the mixer ran to make sure it didn't fall out and the head fell off the stand. After thinking of all the ways I might repair this, tape over the pin to tighten it, etc, I finally found the solution after much goggle searching, There is a screw that holds the pin in, but, it's under the mixer, not the adjustment pin for the mixer height, Turn the mixer over on it's side, be careful of damaging the control knobs. and way up inside of the base, you will see a small screw that holds the hinge pin in place, Just tighten the screw and that will take care of the problem Hope this will help someone else CC |
