The hinge pin on my mixer started migrating out of place while using
it. I had to keep watching the pin as the mixer ran to make sure it didn't fall out and the head fell off the stand. After thinking of all the ways I might repair this, tape over the pin to tighten it, etc, I finally found the solution after much google searching, There is a screw that holds the pin in, but, it's under the mixer stand, not the adjustment pin for the mixer height, which is under the mixer head. Turn the mixer over on it's side, being careful of damaging the control knobs. and way up inside of the base, you will see a small screw that holds the hinge pin in place, Just tighten the screw and that will take care of the problem Hope this will help someone else CC |
