I realize these don't fall under kitchen equipment, but the concept is
the same. I purchased these scissors and they are so tight that I cannot get them apart/closed comfortably enough to use them. http://tinyurl.com/2epo54 Can anyone help with an idea what to do; if it is oiling, what kind of oil? sewing machine oil? I don't want them slippery at all, as I am not allowed to cut myself. Great looking scissors, but.. They remind me of the Thermapen thermometer that I bought. I had to return them twice to get one that would work, but they never did loosen up completely. They told me to work it (them) back and forth several hundred times to loosen it up -- LOL. So DH had to do it for me. It didn't do a darned thing. Any help loosening up these darned scissors. My fingers and arm are hurting already - not kidding! Thanks. Dee |
