Where can I find a news group about Hot Salsa? I like to try different
types from small obscure companies; any suggestions. |

Don't know of a NG about salsa, but what I do for new salsas is visit different grocery stores/supermarkets whenever I am out of town. I look for the local brands and those I have not tasted to try to find something different. Just last month I drove thru Louisiana and stopped at a small store off the main interstate highway and found a local brew (Poche's) that had a really mild flavor to it somewhat like Cholula but kinda sweet. If you go this route, search for "pico de gallo" which is the Mexican name for a salsa made with tomatoes, onions, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, garlic, and lime. Much better than any of that stuff in a jar. Brad H |
