Default stump bbq

Today is my Q day I am smoking a pork butt
I started a fire on a cherry stump I cut down last year. I used 10-15
briquets to get the party going
and set my wood smoker box over the stump. ocassionaly I throw on a couple
peices of hardwood oak flooring every 30-60 minutes

I was REALLY admiring the firebox over a stump too, I'd love to see pics.
It's not like you could do this forever, but damn, starting a stump on fire
and using it to smoke with........ Man, I'd love to see pics.

Hopfully I will post a few pics to show after work.

my stump was cut low to the ground with probably 2-3 inches above ground
I lit 2 fires on the stump using charcol hoping to get rid of it before
using it for a bbq. So there is many burns from a stump.
