It probably won't be 100% as good as a regular pan, but I think it will
work. Eggs have a way of sticking to just about everything. Unless you are
entering a contest, you don't have much to lose except for a few eggs, some
sugar, and your time.

Default Teflon-coated Tube Pan for Angelfood Cake?

My regular aluminum tube pan is packed for moving and I only have a teflon-
coated tube pan available for baking. If it's scrupulously clean and oil
free (a la dishwasher) will it work for an angelfood cake?

TIA

True, it's worth a shot. I don't know which box I packed the regular tube
pan in. Thanks, Vox.

Yes, but being darker it may not need as much cooking time - I think
darker pans need less time to cook. (??)

Could be, and I'll have to watch it carefully. However, the exterior is
bright shiny aluminum. The interior is brown teflon.
