Default Sugars

Has anybody used "Glucose" in place off or as well as Granulated sugar.
Or does anybody know if it can be used?

It can. Yeast prefer glucose to fructose, generally (table sugar,
sucrose, is a dimer of glucose and fructose, and at breaks down into
a 50/50 mixture of both in acidic solutions like grape juice).
