Anybody have good tips on storing and drying siphon tubes? I hang
them from a hook but the ends curl up and the water gets trapped. Then I have to worry about mold. I know its a mundane topic but... |

I then use a spray bottle in which I have a concentrated SO2 solution stored and spray the outside and inside of both ends. I then connect the two ends together via the wand. |

I am curious - how do you 'sterilize' them, as opposed to sanitizing
them? In article > > wrote: >> Sterilize and the freeze them in a zip-loc. -- I'm using an evaluation license of nemo since 59 days. You should really try it! http://www.malcom-mac.com/nemo |

Hot water sterilization works well. I've used various cleaners/ sanitizers
over the years but am sensitive to sulphur. Tubes and such I've always felt instead of drying in an environment that could subject them to contamination not to worry about drying them and popping them in the freezer sealled in a ziploc. Sanitize and freeze same same. ![]() I just wash mine and rinse thoroughly; I drape them over a rod to drain dry. Never had any issues. Joe |

I do much as Paul does. I rinse them. No cleaner. Then I pour a couple of
inchs of sulfite solution in and connect the end together and hang it up. Nothing is going to grow in there with that solution in the tube. When I use it next I just rinse it and use it. Leave the cane on it so it remains sanitixed as well. Ray "Paul E. Lehmann" > wrote in message ... > marc wrote: > >> Anybody have good tips on storing and drying >> siphon tubes?
