Default 2012 Alain Verset Cornas

2012 Alain Verset Cornas ****

The nephew of a legendary Cornas maker. At the same time the cheapest available Cornas here. wasnt expecting much, but wow I was surprised.

The right Cornas characteristics that I love so much, at this young vintage;
crushed stones with a bit of olive, mellow black berries, a bit of smoked spice.

It is a bit cloudy and has a bit of sediment. Probably unfiltered.

Amazing PQR and it can be enjoyed immediately after buying, while waiting for the other Cornas'es to mature. The drawback is that it doesn't stand strong on 2nd day - its probably not for aging at all.
