I've been browsing for available Madiran to try. So far I found one:

Chateau Peyros Vielles Vignes 2009

It is 80 Tannat 20% cab.

Is this a good representative?

According to Bettane et Desseauve, not representative of the AOC because a
higher proportion of Cabernet Franc than usual.

They tasted 2003 and 2011 and scored them 14/20 and 15/20, suggesting long
decants before serving.

So there's usually negative cab franc in it? since this one has 0%.

Seems the product info is wrong on the site of my store. They say cab sauv. but other sites say cab franc.
