Default Badia a Coltibuono

Does anybody have any experience concerning BaC as a) wine producer
and b) place to stay? I note that they use very little International
varieties (5 % Merlot in one of their reds), and claim "sustainable
practices" and being "biological" (the BS-warning is in the yellow).
The pictures look nice, though.

I'm not a fan of the wines. A bit lean and austere. Not horrible but
nothing exceptional.
