The floral character came out more > with air-contact. It sounds like you've nailed Pinot D'Aunis character to me, Chris! ;-) It's a very unusual grape in the assortment of flavors that hit you. Yes, the color of your wine is darker than those I've seen, so maybe that's '05's influence, or maybe it's the producer (whose name is unfamiliar to me).
