This spring, the US House of Representatives passed a bill thatwould
prevent states from requiring any information on food labels that the
FDA doesn't. (My understanding is that the Senate delayed consideration
of the bill until after the election.) Consumers' groups and
public-health professionals complained, but a full majority of
"representatives" didn't listen.

This is the month to hold congressmen responsible.
