Default Using Yixing teapot all the day

I will probably buy a new Yixing teapot soon.

I'm wondering, is it OK to use it all the day (i.e. from 8:00AM to
5:00PM, leaving wet tea in the teapot all the time), if I "clean" it
with hot water and remove the lid only at the end of each day?

no problem, just watch out for mold. I left damp tea in mine over night for
weeks and it just conditions the pot faster. Mold is visible after a couple
of days, but probably starts growing sooner, so if your tea has been left
sitting for awhile it's probably best to use true boiling water to infuse so
as to kill anything.
