Default A Simple "Brown" Bread Sourdough Recipe

A basic by volume recipe.

This is good served hot as small loaves with dinner. Would be good baked as
dinner rolls too.

1 cup proofed sourdough starter
1 cup milk, warmed
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/3 cup molasses
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 1/2+ cups bread flour

Mix starter, milk, molasses, melted butter, & salt.
Mix in flour & knead. Add flour until dough sticks to itself, not to you.

Rise.

Bake @ 375F until internal bread temp is 200F. About 15 minutes for 6 inch
loaves. Tapping the crust will reveal doneness-it should sound and feel
hollow inside with no jiggle. You know the drill.
