FAMOUS AMOS COOKIES

2 sticks (1 C.) margarine
3/4 C. brown sugar
1 level tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 C. chopped pecans
3/4 C. white granulated sugar
18 oz. chocolate chips
2 medium size eggs
2 1/4 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt


Preheat oven to 350°F.


Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl, thoroughly adding pecans and
chocolate chips last.


Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet making sure dough
is not too close together.


Bake cookies between 10-20 minutes depending on size of cookies.
