I still remember the lunch bag taken to school back in the 40's -50's
with fried bologna or fried egg sandwichs my Mom made. When we were lucky
we had fried pies made with pie dough folded over brown sugar and butter
or peaches. Then they sat in the Texas classroom in 100+ heat till noon
when we got to eat. Gettin' teary-eyed now. :-)

Fried Bologna Sandwich

sliced bologna
bread

You gotta cut into the bologna around the outside to keep it from curling.
Cook in the frying pan allowing edges and bottom to brown. Place between
two slices of gread and season with your favorite condiment.
