Sweet Hot Sauce for Ribs

2 cups tomato puree
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 cup hot pepper sauce ( ex Louisiana hot sauce )
1 stalk celery chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 small onion chopped
1 Tbsp red pepper flakes
2 lemons, squeeze in juice and add rind

Bring to boil and simmer everything for 30 minutes. Remove lemon rind .
Good for ribs, chicken, beef.
