Default Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Pie

Pastry

2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup lard
water

Filling

1 medium sized pumpkin
1/4 cup water
3 egg
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Pastry
Mix together until it forms a fine grain mixture.
Add enough water so it will stick together and roll away from the side of
the bowl.
Roll out one piecrust.

Filling
Peel 1/2 of medium sized pumpkin and deseed it.
. Cube raw pumpkin and boil in 1/4 cup of water.
. Boil until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add 3 eggs, 2 cups of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon
ground cloves.
Hopefully makes 2 cups of pie filling.
Fill pie shell and bake in oven for 1 hour.
