Pan Fried Green Onions
I like to make these like I would baked chicken: you dip the mixture into the egg, then throw it in the flour and throw it on the pan to fry up. [ buy A Korean Mother's Cooking Notes ] 2 bundles plus 1/2 tablespoon green onions 1/2 cup sliced beef 1 cup sliced seafood (such as squid, shrimp, or tuna) 3 eggs 3 tablespoons flour 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chopped garlic 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil dash pepper tablespoon sesame salt Clean green onions and quarter lengthwise if thick and half if thin. When making small pancakes, about palm size, cut the green onions into 2-inch lengths; you will need about 4 cups. Season meat with soy sauce, sugar, salt, 1/2 tablespoon green onion (chopped), garlic, sesame oil, pepper and sesame salt. Mix green onion pieces with seasoned beef, adding whatever seafood you have. Season mixture with salt. Sprinkle with flour and mix with egg. Spoon mixture into disk shapes in a heated pan and fry.
