Default Eggnog

Eggnog

Serves 12 - 24.

3 dozen eggs, separated and the white beaten until stiff
6 cups sugar
1/2 gallon brandy
1/4 gallon milk
grated nutmeg

Over very low heat, stir the egg yolks, sugar, brandy and milk. When the
sugar is melted, remove from heat and chill. When cold, stir in the
beaten egg whites. Serve in tall glasses with ice and sprinkled with
nutmeg.
