Default Crockpot Stroganoff

Crockpot Stroganoff

2-1/2 lbs round steak, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2T paprika
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 (8 oz) carton of fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can chicken or beef broth
1/2 cup water
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 cup sour cream

In a plastic bag, mix flour, seasoned salt, pepper, and paprika. Dust meat
strips with flour mixture. In a skillet, brown meat in hot butter. Add
mushrooms and brown lightly. Transfer to crockpot and stir in water,
broth, and onion soup mix. Cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours. Stir in sour
cream. Cover and cook on HIGH for another 30 minutes. Do not boil. Serve
over hot buttered noodles or rice.
