I've made and processed about 65 jars of stuff since last Friday:
Apricot butter Berry combination jam Raspberry jam Apricot jelly Tripleberry jelly Strawberry Rhubarb jam Strawberry jelly Strawberry Pineapple Mango jam Cherry jelly Total is more than 200 jars including what I was doing in February and March from frozen. (That's a nice way to make jam, btw.) And I haven't even started with the Peach Stuff. :-) Selecting my Fair entry for one lot from the several various and fine combinations I've made will be the hardest part! And I so love it when I can read "rreK" through the jelly. Pardon me if this is OT, but I read about your picnic and thought you might like this recipe. A fast pasta salad recipe - Cook up some small pasta shells and add: Lots of fresh Basil, chopped, Lots of fresh Garlic, minced Diced Tomatoes 1 block of Feta cheese, crumbled Olive oil to taste. Best flavor is after it chills over night. Cheers! - A - |
