Default Air blast freezers

Googling about preservation techniques I came across this thing called
"flash freezing"/"blast freezing" or air blast freezing. Does any one have
access to one of these things ?
I read a post here long ago that it cost upwards of $30,000! but I've been
finding small models for about $6000 to $7000...
any inputs greatly appreciated.
Thankyou
