Default elderberry pie debut

I took and elderberry pie made from reconstituted dried elderberries to a
gathering of a folk singers last night as a contribution to the mid
session break. None of them had seen elderberry pie before and were
guessing from the appearance before tasting that it might be blueberry or
even mince meat. I stood by quitely listening to the specualtion and
comments. I was surprized that a in group of 20 folkies none had ever seen
or tasted elderberry pie, but not surprized at the praise for the taste of
elderberry.
