W00t!! I'm in the June-July issue!! LOL! Story about the Minnesota
State Fair. There's even a picture of the disgusting blue ribbon
pickled boiled dirt chunks!

:-) Too bad more of our interview didn't get in there -- we had a
blast. Michael Stern was stunned (and, I think, disbelieving) that I
could win two blue ribbons for those dumb pickled beets without ever
having tasted them.

Oh, Jorge . . . . he knows I'm a beet hater; he just can't figure out
how I can win a blue ribbon without ever tasting them! The woman I got
the recipe from swore they're the best. How would I know? Have someone
else judge them, I guess. <grin>
