I am going up to my retreat in a month from now and their should be lots of

Why not wait a bit longer? I made a jelly once. Due to not taking the natural pectin into consideration, I ended up with candies. Much better than the jelly orange slices I ate as a kid. ;> I usually dry some and use them in tea and hot spiced cider. Great way to get extra vitamin C in the winter. The ones we picked we used for jelly, but we waited until after the first
frost to harvest them. You might try it both ways.
