Hiya. Long time no post :-)
I have a question for the assembled experts. Once again my dad's figs have failed to ripen. This annual event is a bit worse this year as the trees cropped heavily. But hey, he is probably just a bit far north, and this summer in tha UK was not.... one of the best :-) So. Can anything be done with unripe figs ? Can they be chutneyed, pickled, fermented salted or smoked ? -- When a new technology rolls over you, if you aren't part of the steamroller, you'r part of the road. |

I've tried to use these in recipes and have found that it is just a waste of time. I know of no recipes using green figs. HTH |
