hello everyone:
I just canned 4 & 7/8 qts of tomato juice,it is in the bwb as I write this. My question is the 7/8 qt was about 2 inches down from the neck, will this be ok or should I just open it after processing and use it. I did not add water to fill it, so it would not dilute the juice. Thanks in advance- Dave |

A little could be compensated by a longer processing time to remove the extra air, but I personally wouldn't go there with 2+ inches though. Suggest you refrigerate and use soon, or pour into a bag and freeze it for longer storage. KW |
