My watermelon has rind thick enough for a decent pickle! They should be
in the jars by Tuesday. :-) The melon is tasty, to boot!

I didn't think you could get "Black Diamond" watermelons any more.

I doubt it's a Black Diamond. It's seedless but has nice enough
thickness at the rind. Sam's. $3.77, I think.

Gurney's has the seeds. That goes on my list for seed shopping.

I got a Black Diamond watermelon the other day from a Veggie stand. I
was told Black Diamonds are not available for the big box stores like
Sams, Cub, etc. I do not remember that last time I had such a flavorful
watermelon. Not even cooled in a fridge and it was so tasty.

From here on out, if it is not a Black Diamond, I won't buy it!!!
The tomatoes were excellent to. Been eating 2 of them a day for the
last 3 days. I hope mine are half as good when ready to pick.
