Drying temperature and nutrient loss
Hi there,
I recently heard that drying food at temperatures over 115 causes great loss of nutrients. Does anybody have any science on this? It is easy to imagine that the temperatures recommended by dryer manufacturers give best speed results, but perhaps not the best nutrition. Thank you. |

If you really want to get the most nutrients out of food, eat it raw. (meat being the exception) Ted |
