Default brix meter recommendation for ripe mango and jam

I am looking for recommendations on a durable brix meter that i can
use to monitor fresh mangos (in the field) for ripeness as well as to
control the sugar content in the mango jam. i am thinking about
setting up an organic mango processing facilitity in rural costa rica.

thanks!
