Default How is sweetness described in red wine

Afternoon. Have been trying for several days to find out how red wine
sweetness is described. I am told that sweetness depends on residual sugar.
Is it a percentage such as 10%, or slightly sweet, or medium sweet, or real
sweet? Would appreciate an answer. cdr
