Pickled Peppers
I was just given a big bag of yellow banana peppers and wondered if
anyone had any pickling recipes for them. Thanks in advance! BrianW |

Pickled Peppers
Try equal parts each of regular soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. I also
add some raw peeled garlic cloves and onions cut large. I do jalepenos and thai chilis like this and they taste great after a few weeks in the fridge. I picked up a recipe I am going to use that is equal parts water and vinegar with a little pickling salt. BrianW |

I recommend Canning & Pickling Salt if you have some around. I can mine up so they're shelf-stable. I can give you instructions if you want to try canning your pickled peppers. Anny |

You could season it if you wanted to - peppercorns, allspice, bay leaf, garlic, dill. Or not. -- -Barb <http://jamlady.eboard.com> Updated 7-27-06, For The King and His Princess "If it's not worth doing to excess, it's not worth doing at all." |

Mezzetta? http://www.mezzetta.com/Merchant2/me...vc?Screen=SFNT I like em too. They're a local brand so they're available all over. -- Reg |
