Those boxes of ends and pieces are dirt cheap. Much less expensive
per pound than bacon slices. We'll have to trim some excess fat, but
overall, this will be much more affordable than using regular bacon
slices.

I have never seen such a thing. I've only seen it mentioned
here. Where would you find it in the store? Not that I need
a box o bacon.

They're usually in with the hams, turkeys, etc. I've never seen them
in with the regular bacon. You KNOW you'd love a box o' bacon!

She is right... They are half the price of regular bacon.
I've deep fried that stuff, then chopped it up for bacon bits.

I most often use it for beans tho' and pressure cook it to make a bacon
stock. It's easier to de-fat it that way.
