Hi everyone,
I asked for suggestions as to what to bring my French friend when I go visit. After calling the airlines and spending a good hour being read the fine print as to what is permissible (boy the French are strict) we could not find out if I can bring in locally grown dates, so I'm going to do it anyway along with another locally grown nut-pistachios and if it gets tossed then so be it. I also thought I'd bring chocolate chips so she can make cookies for her 4 kids. They have a standard recipe on the bag but what about translating to metric, I suppose she can look it up online? Please forgive me but I'm not much of a cook/baker (to put it kindly) will this be a problem? TIA |
